Instructions
Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your kitchen gear and ingredients and put them on a clean counter.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Trim off the outer, dry leaves, cut the bottom off and slice lengthwise.
- In a medium mixing bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread evenly onto a baking sheet with cut side down.
- Roast them for about 20 minutes; sprouts will appear browned and crisp on the outside and will be tender on the inside.
- To make these sprouts extra yummy: after roasting, put them back into a bowl and toss them with 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1-2 teaspoons honey and 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar.
