PowerUp Goes to Preschool!

On Saturday, April 5^th, 2014 Stillwater’s Early Childhood Family Center was packed with more than 150 kids who came for the PowerUp Preschool Family Fun Fair. PowerUp partnered with the Early Childhood Family Center to create this fun event free of charge for all preschoolers and their families!

“The preschool family fun fair was great mix of fun activities in the gym, fun games, and learning about how to be healthy. My girls had so much fun- their favorite part was spinning the wheel for a chance to win a healthy snack!” – Bre decorsey, Mom of two.

The event gave kids and families the chance to PowerUp activities and games. Among the favorites were Sweet Potato Sweep (sweep the potato over the line and win a Sweet Potato with a recipe);  PowerUp Freeze Dance (try some fun, new dance steps with the School Challenge Dance Break DVD); PowerUp Visor Making; Color Wheel Spin and more! Preschoolers also gave veggies the THUMBS UP when they gave the Veggie Vote a try.

Every preschooler who joined in on the fun that Saturday received a plush Chomp, our PowerUp carrot super-hero!  The PowerUp Family Fun Fair was a blast, learning about all the fun we can have with fruits, veggies and of course… play!
