PowerUp Kids learn how to Grill at Cooks of Crocus Hill

| On July 26, nine students attended the PowerUp Kids Cook: Grill class at the Cooks of Crocus Hill store in Stillwater. Participants made a recipe for grilled vegetables with basil vinaigrette, while learning how to prepare a variety of vegetables. Chef Mike Shannon led the group to the shop’s herb garden, located in the flower boxes outside the store’s windows, and explained how to harvest each herb.
