Why Become a PowerUp Ambassador?
PowerUp is a community-wide initiative to make eating better and moving more easy, fun, and popular so kids can grow up healthy and reach their full potential. Everyone has the ability to help make meaningful, sustainable healthy changes in their community! Parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, health care providers, youth leaders, and other community members play a crucial role in helping the community become a healthier place where children thrive. We can make a difference and do what's best for kids when we do it together.
What is a PowerUp Ambassador?
PowerUp Ambassadors help influence and mobilize kids and families throughout the St. Croix Valley to make it easy, fun and popular to eat better and move more where they live, learn, work and play. Ambassadors inspire their "circle of influence" by leading by example and sharing the PowerUp messages.
Who Can Become an Ambassador?
The PowerUp Ambassador Program is specifically designed for the communities of Amery, Hudson, Mahtomedi, New Richmond, Somerset, Stillwater, and White Bear Lake.
PowerUp in the St. Croix Valley is powered by Lakeview Hospital, Stillwater Medical Group, Amery Hospital and Clinic, Hudson Hopsital and Clinic and Westfields Hospital and Clinic in partnership with our communities. Outside of the St. Croix Valley, PowerUp is also HealthPartners overall campaign to create healthy communities with members, patients, employees and families through programs, partnerships and useful resources.
How Do I Become an Ambassador?
To become a PowerUp Ambassador, attend a two hour PowerUp Ambassador Training. Throughout the year, trainings will be held in the communities surrounding each of our St. Croix Valley hospitals and clinics. Find an upcoming training on our Events Calendar.
